The rumor was that Jesus had a 13th disciple. Stan the Saint. His divine gift was making an outrageously fantastic footy club with only the best people; he was also a bit of a loose cannon back in the day!

But actually, the West Coast Saints Australian Football Club was founded in 2008 thanks to some terrific lads like Frosty, Rhino, and Scott Sheen. The club continues to thrive in Vancouver today, having won the Grand Finals in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2018, and 2019, as well as having played in several others. But it isn’t all about winning, it is mostly about getting to hangout with some absolute legends and loose units and have a real good time. We have a great sponsor pub, organize road trips, and host awesome events and parties. The footy club has also spun off into soccer and ice hockey teams. This is probably why we are arguably the most successful and fun Aussie Rules team in Vancouver!

5. Live by the motto “gotta want it”
